About VSA

and the NYS Alliance for Arts Education

The VSA Comes to New York State website is the result of a collaboration between the New York State Alliance for Arts Education and VSA of New York City.

Through the website, NYSAAE and VSA of New York City seek to create a greater awareness and understanding of the power of the arts to change people’s lives, especially people with disabilities.

Our organizations share common goals and promote increased access to the arts for people with disabilities. Together we offer educational residency programs in schools and cultural organizations, provide professional development training opportunities, and more.
