Research and Development Intern


NYSAAE is seeking an organized and efficient team player to fill the position of Research and Development Intern.  This position is a prime opportunity for students interested in a career in arts administration and has potential to fulfill university credit hours based on school requirements. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

-  Perform research as needed for new projects (25%)

-  Assist with special projects and assignments (25%)

-  Assist with member, donor, and organizational outreach (15%)

-  Assist with the creation and maintenance of databases and files (15%)

-  Other administrative work as needed (20%)

 

 

Skills: 

The position requires a highly motivated individual with a willingness to learn about the organization and the day-to-day operations of a non-profit arts administration organization.  Candidates must have strong oral and written communication skills, adept computer skills (including Microsoft Office applications and internet research), and the motivation and focus to work individually on long-term projects.
